The work that Graham and his team carried out in our house has totally transformed our lives. They moved our kitchen to a different room in the house and made our downstairs open plan so that we can all be together as a family. They turned a previously unused conservatory into a brand new, modern living space. Graham was so much more than just “the builder”. He was involved from the start of the process and brought so many design ideas to the table. He has such attention to detail and throughout the work he discussed options to make sure everything turned out exactly as we wanted. As the work progressed he made suggestions that we hadn’t previously considered and was happy to amend the scope of the work to then factor these changes in. Due to the pandemic we had our three children at home throughout the building work and Graham and his team were wonderful with them. The children were sad when they left! "In early 2016 we employed Graham to build our large kitchen and living space extension.
He organised the architect to carryout the planning and drawing process. The design was quite spectacular, a real Grand design, incorporating enormous anthracite coloured aluminium sliding doors. The proposed extension looked like it could be a huge challenge to Graham as it was very bespoke. Graham and his team worked tirelessly everyday for several months. He was there everyday. This was so reassuring because it allowed for changes, upgrades and queries to be discussed before the start of the day. I never had to contact him by phone or chase him. Considering the magnitude and complexity of the project the job ran smoothly with minimal stress and problems. He has since returned to carry out other work. he changed all of the doors throughout the house with beautiful LPD oak doors and installed a CCTV camera system. We had plans drawn that we thought we were happy with. The kitchen extension was constructed and the proposed bathroom above. Graham realised that the drawing wasn’t really reflective of the available space. His advice was invaluable, the proposed bathroom would be better to be a bedroom. The bedroom has a vaulted ceiling and is full of light with the Velux windows and is a superb space. Graham recommended that we then put the new bathroom into an existing bedroom. With the detail of old beams and modern fittings it is an awesome room. Graham considered every detail of the project and corresponded with my wife and I so that we were happy with every single step. Our home was previously a rabbit warren of rooms. Our extended and refurbished home is now a fabulous and flowing modernised space. Features from the past tastefully blend with new. A Large Extension and 4 Kilowatt Solar Job in Solihull - What the client said...
"Early in 2007 it became abundantly clear the stair-lift I had been using for two years would no longer meet my needs as I would be using a wheelchair all the time. Graham carried out a contract at a neighbour's home in a Merrington close. He constructed a fifth bedroom & two bathrooms built over the double garage extending to the breakfast area off the kitchen plus a loft room.
This seemed an ideal but expensive solution to my problem. My husband went to see the owner and he agreed it would be perfect as we could incorporate the lift into the garage giving access to the new bedroom and wet room bathroom. The owner told us she had used Graham Morrall Construction and could thoroughly recommend him.
Although Graham had no experience of installing lifts we accepted his quote. We were so pleased with the work Graham did. He took so much care with the brickwork that the extension looked as if it had always been there. The lift was installed into the area that Graham had built and health professionals have been amazed with the finished result as it meets my needs perfectly.
We were so impressed with the extension that my husband decided to have solar panels installed on the roof at the back of the house. Graham had never installed solar panels before but we had such confidence in his work that we agreed he could install solar panels on our roof to get accreditation to install solar panels. Graham carried out the work with his usual proficiency and we are extremely pleased with the result.
Recently we have had an ensuite bathroom updated by Graham and this meant a complete reconfiguration for the toilet and wash basin. Again Graham rose to the challenge and we are very pleased with the result.

A 4 Kilowatt Solar Job in Dorridge - What the Client Said...
"We asked Graham Morrall to supply a quotation for our Solar Panel System. He had recently installed a system for a friend of ours. We have quite a large roof that faces south west. We wanted as many of the best quality panels onto the roof as possible but also for the panel array to look symmetrical and and as subtle as possible. We had had several quotes, and the Sunny Boy inverter was mentioned by many companies as being one of the best on the market.
Graham supplied a competitive quotation within a couple of days and suggested panel layout plans that the other companies hadn’t. One of Graham’s layouts was for 15 panels but the plan for 13 panels looked better. When he came to install it, he found that 14 panels was possible, and this flexibility on his part meant the final job looked even better.
He was the only installer who suggested that the solar cable could be routed down the side of a soil pipe that runs down the centre of the house and into the garage, allowing the inverter to be installed there (I suppose that’s the benefit of getting a quote from the man who’s going to do the work rather than a salesman). This means we can check what we’ve generated, and also it meant he could easily install a Solar water-heating device that should help with the gas bills.
The Solar World Panels were installed by Graham within a couple of days. The Sunny Boy Inverter and electric devices were installed in an afternoon by Graham’s fully qualified electrician Ian Millard. Graham has installed a quality system at a price that we were happy with and I would happily recommend Graham and his company, The Solar Pad Limited".
(He also noticed that a lot of the mortar had fallen out of the ridge and hip tiles so he re-pointed them at no extra cost – thanks!).
